DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT


USE: Waterborne one component anti‐corrosion product. Based on styrene‐acrylic copolymer and

zinc phosphate. This product can be used as well as a primer or as a finishing coat.

FEATURES: Very good adherence on steel ‐ The obtained film is elastic and waterproof ‐ High resistance

against corrosion ‐ Very good outdoor durability.


SUBSTRATES: Iron, steel and old galvanized substrates. On iron, steel and old galvanized substrates:


SYSTEM: • Primer: 1 coat of ELASTOMETAL;

• Top coat: 1 coat of ELASTOMETAL.

On new galvanized supports:

• Primer: 1 coat of MULTIPRIM;

• Topcoat: 2 coats of ELASTOMETAL.


APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS


PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE: The substrate has to be free of rust (norm St2 or Sa2), degreased,

dry, and free of dust.

  1. APPLICATION CONDITIONS: Ambient temperature: > 5° C ‐ R.H.: max. 80 %
  2. APPLICATION MEANS: Brush, roller or airless (nozzle: 015–023)
  3. DILUTION: Water (only for airless: 3%)
  4. CLEANING OF TOOLS: Water
  5. CONSUMPTION: Ca. 400g/m² per coat (total consumption: 800g/m²)
  6. Thickness of dry coat: ± 350 μm
  7. PARTICULARITIES: Mix well before use
  8. TECHNICAL DATA
  9. FINISH: Satin gloss
  10. COLOURS: RAL colour chart
  11. SOLIDS CONTENT: In weight: 64‐66 %
  12. In volume: 55‐57 %
  13. VOC CONTENT: Max 8g/L
  14. DENSITY: Ca. 1.25
  15. FLASH POINT: Not flammable
  16. VISCOSITY: 180 P – 220 P (Brookfield 20 Rpm)
  17. DRYING TIME: On touch: 3 hours
  18. Recoatable: min. 6 hours
  19. PACKING: 1 Kg – 5 Kg – 25Kg
  20. STORAGE STABILITY: 12 months: keep away from frost
